Patek Philippe

5131G

I have the 5575G which is the pride and joy of my small collection and am waiting for the 5131R. The 5575G(39.8mm) was produced in 1300 pieces and I am pretty sure that the discontinued 5131G (39.5mm) was produced in the hundreds at most. That itself will make it more desirable. Every enamel watch is unique whereas every 5575G would be similar. In addition, Patek have discontinued the entire 5130 range this month (it is official!) leaving only the 5131R. Yes, Basel 2016 will be most interesting.  Nevertheless, the mesmerizing moon on the 5575G is quite something to behold as Joseph will testify not to mention its ability to capture the light and  change colours. Still, my vote would go to the 5131G.

By the way, if you do happen to buy the 5575G from your friend and he still wants to sell the 5131G, please send me a personal message if he is keen to sell it to me! smile
