Something about the case speaks more to me. With the angles and lugs, smaller bezel, in yellow gold has a vintage feel. Also think the enamel work is different, more detailed for sure. Have heard the enamel artist shifted from mother (for 5131j) to her so

I prefer the 5130 case over the 5230 as the former in my eyes is pretty unique in the PP case line-up with its lovely rounded forms. 5230 case is more like “standard” case design of PP which can be found in pretty similar versions on other models. But as

IMO, key points of the two references are: 5231J: improved technique on the enamel dial because of the 10+ years of experience on the 5131 series, and 2) font for the city ring is more usual 5131J: 1) more vibrant colors (important to me on an enamel dial
