5131 vs 5575
I certainly feel the 5131 is special due to its artistic characteristics. Only a handful of artists are talented enough to paint an enamel dial and I heard Patek contracts with a couple of these very talented artists for this purpose. However I have heard from others who own the watch that because it is more of an artistic piece, they end up not wearing the watch very often. However the 5575 is such that it can be worn regularly if you want to and use the World Timer function regularly. I wear my 5575 occasionally and more often when I am visiting the AD that procured the watch for me.
Whichever one choose, I am sure you will enjoy wearing one of these fine timepieces.

You can't go wrong with either but 5575
Both are great but 5575 is more versatile and I think easier on the eyes too. Love it but don't have it! One thing though, I don't think it is as easy to read the time on 5575.

About the servicing
I would maybe suggest to pay a visit to your Patek AD if you have one nearby and ask them what they think. They can tell you it needs servicing as they can tell you it can wait another X years. You can also wear it and wait until it doesn't work accuratel...

I think that the 5131G is my choice. Over time, the anniversary piece will be easier to find, due to the sheer number of pieces made, whereas the 5131G will remain a tight supply.
How many more 5575G's still to be produced?
I know the run is 1300 but wondered how long this sort of volume takes to produce?
Certainly all sold but I don't believe production is complete.
Are they numbered and sold sequentially?
Limited edition from Patek are not numbered
