Fantastic post, love the look of the watch, but
I'm not so sure about the idea of the watch? It's a vintage "homage" of sorts to a piece that never existed. I agree, Nicolas, it is exactly what JLC would have done had they made this piece in the late 50s (minus an automatic 28800 beat movement?), but they didn't make it. I do like it's look -- in fact, it looks fantastic, but I cannot embrace it. Pardon the American pop culture reference, which I doubt translates, but I'm afraid JLC has jumped the shark a bit with this one! And yet I am standing all alone in my dissent, so I'm more than willing to admit I may be missing something on this one?
All that aside, Nicolas, the pictures are dark, mysterious and fun. I really enjoyed the post!

Sure! The Cal 751 is not a new movement.
It was introduced in 2005, if I am not wrong... Here, JLC removed the date and the second, though. The dimensions are: 25, 5 mm big / 5, 65 mm high. Best, Nicolas.

My Tribute DSA came with a rubber strap and I use it swimming. From the image it looks like the new chrono that the diver is wearing has the same strap. BTW I was initially skeptical of the strap but I found it to be quite comfortable and IMO looks approp...
