I would tend to agree with you if JLC made some easy money with the release of such watches, exclusively, but you said it and you're right, it is not the case.
Vintage is popular because of ITs own qualities, I guess, which are a story, soul, and an undisputable charm.
Now, we also have to say that a big part of the modern JLC production is strongly linked to the Past.

Sure! The Cal 751 is not a new movement.
It was introduced in 2005, if I am not wrong... Here, JLC removed the date and the second, though. The dimensions are: 25, 5 mm big / 5, 65 mm high. Best, Nicolas.

My Tribute DSA came with a rubber strap and I use it swimming. From the image it looks like the new chrono that the diver is wearing has the same strap. BTW I was initially skeptical of the strap but I found it to be quite comfortable and IMO looks approp...
