Does anybody represent

they are independent and ethical watch journalists? To do so they would have to have no connection with or receive anything of value from the watch companies. I believe Consumer Reports attempts to do this in their opinions. Watch reviewers would have to BUY the watches to review them. No more loaners from the companies. All watch advertising of any type would be strictly banned. Any contact with the companies unless strictly reported in full in the review would be banned. I frankly never put much value in any review where the reviewer got the watch for free for a time to wear for the review. I never put much value in any review I read online. Why, because to be a watch reviewer online you need absolutely nothing but a computer and importantly, access to the watches. That is it. Everyone has an opinion on a watch. Thus, my initial reaction to this thread.
