Collector's summit
I remember the flak they get when they hosted the for-pay Collector's Summit. I'd have to believe they have started building a clientele list, so to speak.
One of the IG accounts I follow have been posting the watch within a couple days since the announcement. Said IG account also has a previous Hdk LE. This person is probably on that friend list.
As for the watch itself, it's a stunner. I'm pretty sure we wish VC makes it as a general release and not just available for a select friends/audience of a website. But I understand that VC has to also maintain its standing in the luxury watch sphere. A steel watch for their signature chronograph model would probably lower their standing, but not when it is made super-limited catered especially to the most discerning collectors.
