A very adult question for grown-ups about traveling
How do you travel with your watches?
When I travel on vacation, as I am now, I either wear a g-shock, or a sport watch that I can wear the whole time, in the water, everywhere.
How do purists travel with multiple watches or with a dress watch? Because sometime you have to leave a watch somewhere! I ask because I have read about how unsafe hotel room safes are and how things get stolen very easily from hotels with no recourse. This can happen in very nice hotels and from places that are otherwise fairly safe.
I deeply appreciate any and all advice and experience from fellow purists, thanks in advance!

Yes, travelling with expensive watches can be unsafe. Doesn't matter whether it is 5-star hotel. Employees have sharp eyes, even when you wear a long sleeve shirt and a jacket.. For myself, I usually travel with a steel watch (Rolex, Tudor, Longines, VC)....
