I do really like fastfood actually, so when i dont care about my health i eat many Hamburgers. I personally prefer the incredible burger from Nestle over the beyond-version for its healthier ingredients.
As a vegan, you can basically eat whatever you want, it is just important to not just eat what you would normally eat without the meat - then it gets boring. You should compensate with something amazing. It could be Cauliflower with a garlic-bbq topping or whatever (that is my traditional Super-Bowl food, i dont eat it at any other time though).
You have to try again and again and sooner or later you will know a couple of meals that you really like.
However, i cant really tell you what restaurants are nice.
I cant really help with the one amazing idea that turns you into a lifetime vegan either, but i actually can tell you that you made a very cool and wise decision. Not just for the animals but for yourself. Try some meat after eating vegan for 2 weeks - you will learn that you dont really want to eat meat anymore. And if you still want to eat a steak - there are hours of slaughterhouse-footage on youtube ;-)
All the best!
