You know how it works, bring the tent over...đ€Ł
Aug 08, 2022,16:27 PM
Youâre right this monsters are quite thick, and heavy, but when on the wrist, the satisfaction is unbelievable.
As for the allocation, I went to the Boutique about five times, showed my two pieces and since then Iâm in, now only if money would be an option...
A couple of other goodies I saw.
The minute repeater was nice as well, however I donât have any organs to sell. đ

Actually there isâŠThere is no question I love this brand since 2015. There is no question I dislike the current allocation policy or whatever it is happening. This is no question I may already be blacklisted lolâŠfor buying boutique only piece or limited e...
Thatâs what caught my eye, Raymond . . .

You obviously have some strong feelings for the 1815 family. The one I saw missing and you will probably have no challenges acquiring would be the 1815 Up/Down, which is an ageless, classic beauty IMHO!
+1

You have assembled a wonderful collection!
By: als1678 : August 8th, 2022-01:01
I have bad news for you though - you might have to go for that datograph perpetual tourbillon, especially if you can find the white gold ... Or the 1815 rattrapante perpetual. You can "complete" the Lange 1 look with the perpetual, but somehow it seems to...
Datograph
By: TeutonicCarFan : August 8th, 2022-01:27
Amazing grouping! Sad to see the changes at the brand.
That is a downfall
By: TeutonicCarFan : August 8th, 2022-16:48
The up down fixes that but changes the dial. The larger diameter may even out the watch?
Is this heaven??

Such a Lovely Gathering of Superb References!
By: walidk : August 8th, 2022-02:52
Iâve always admired your posts and passion. This is such a wonderful and colorful assembly of lovely pieces. I think your thinking re the dato perpetual tourbillon is awesome as others mentioned a PLM to mix it up or sax-o-mat would pretty much complete i...

Iâm honored and happy to hear my posts add some value. The watches you mentioned are definitely on my radar especially the Langematik Perpetual Calendars and I missed the opportunity to get the HG and the Dato Lumen back in the days when I still have acce...

Extremely beautiful piece. I recalled walking past rolex boutiques in the early 2010âs and seeing this beauty on display.
Lange 31
By: penfriend : August 8th, 2022-08:11
would fit very well in that box! Totally different beast imho
Thanks for the inputâŠ

I may not have the wrist to pull that one offâŠheavyweights đđȘđ»
What a beautiful collection!
By: andrea~ : August 8th, 2022-08:25
You could go crazy and add a minute repeater or a handwerkskunst piece, or maybe a rattrappante, double split or triple split
Thanks đđ»
By: Clueless_Collector : August 8th, 2022-16:33
I will try to get one that I can wear comfortably. I canât handle too thick or heavy watches.
Fantastic Collection!
By: Saxon : August 8th, 2022-08:31
All kind of metal, all lines covered, bravo. No tourbillon yet, no PLM and the sax-0-mat movement is missing. So a Langematik PC (RG or WG blue dial or black dial), a Lange 1 PC tourbillon would be a nice choice, Datograph PC tourbillon, or for the long h...
Impressive collection you've got there
By: George Gently : August 8th, 2022-09:43
Probably not the most popular opinion/recommandation, my dear Raymond, but I wouldn't add any Lange & Söhne timepiece. In stead I'd focus on other offerings from less arrogant brands. And maybe find a 11 piece box ;-) Regards, George

Now they see you as new darling with potential đđ»đȘđ» For me, I think my chances are going to be different. I had asked for some of those pieces you show there and all told sold out. Itâs ok, if they feel like saving the âgoodiesâ for new clients, so be it....
My days are numberedâŠlol.

This is for the successful 30s and 40s Iâm also close to the end and like yourself, maybe only Rolex and Omega still loves me. Enjoy!
Datograph, Dato Perp, or Data Perp Tourbillon
By: ik2000 : August 8th, 2022-11:33
I love your collection. The 1815 Chrono boutique would be my '1 watch only' watch. It has everything I need in life! However, it does seem strange looking at 11 beautiful Langes, and not seeing a Dato there. For me, the Dato is Lange. The flagship. The pi...
You hit all the right notesâŠ
By: Clueless_Collector : August 8th, 2022-16:14
Iâm super tempted on a DPT to complete the range. The reason I chose the 1815 Chrono is the wearability and movement is same as Datograph. Looks like I need some more donations đ
Thatâs a monster piece tooâŠ
By: Clueless_Collector : August 8th, 2022-16:28
With 4 1815s, maybe Iâll take a Tourbillon from another family model but I agree, a PLM or Tourbillon or Perpetual will complete my box.
Tough decision!
By: watchoji : August 9th, 2022-03:54
I concur with the idea of a Perpetual Calendar... Or maybe a ZW Decimal Strike if you can find one. And you can't buy any new pieces or just no limited edition pieces?
"Final Lange"... You're not dead yet, my friend! :)
By: CR : August 9th, 2022-05:12
I understand the frustration, for sure! Now, on to your question... The printing and moonphase on the Dato Perpetual are too small for my taste, and the dial too cluttered. That experience doesn't improve with age As others have said, an original Dato wou...

I was thinking about a Lange 1. I mean, just a simple Lange 1 with no complications. Maybe even an early example if pre owned is your thing..
Amazing Collection
By: rld : August 10th, 2022-11:52
Amazing collection. Only one chrono though and I think a Pt Dato (I prefer the first generation version) would nicely complement what you have now. On the other hand, I agree that no collection of this level is complete without a model with a Langematik m...

By: Clueless_Collector : August 10th, 2022-14:16
I was debating where to put the empty slot because the Saxonia Thin used to be there but I moved it down since the row represents each family. Maybe youâre right my mind subconsciously thinking a L1 PC and I agree with all your points. Thanks for your kin...
Great collection!
By: DarrenKats : August 10th, 2022-14:52
Lange 1 QP would fill out the middle Lange 1 row nicely and add the perpetual calendar complication. Or tourbillon L1 QP! OG dato platinum or of course the Dato perpetual tourbillon. Even the OG zeitwerk in white gold would be nice.
Yes, I need a perpetual calendarâŠ
By: Clueless_Collector : August 10th, 2022-16:29

Being a âsmaller customerâ is pretty posting this pic of a box with only 1 slot to fill is hurting your cause? đ Canât you tell them you want to buy like 3-4 more watches and get in their good graces đ

Very happy to have it. Then again, I was denied some further models I wanted (in particular the ZW Honey Gold Lumen).
