Actually there isâŠThere is no question I love this brand since 2015. There is no question I dislike the current allocation policy or whatever it is happening. This is no question I may already be blacklisted lolâŠfor buying boutique only piece or limited e...
You obviously have some strong feelings for the 1815 family. The one I saw missing and you will probably have no challenges acquiring would be the 1815 Up/Down, which is an ageless, classic beauty IMHO!
But if you donât already own a honey gold reference, I highly recommend considering one. The slightly pale gold metal is so uniquely Lange. And btw, huge congrats on a stellar collection! Here are my three. The Langematik Anniversary is definitely my favo...
I do love that HG Moonphase but train left. The Anniversary is very challenging to find a good condition sample and the ask is also very high. Youâre thinking of the 1815 boutique chrono? May I know why?
I have bad news for you though - you might have to go for that datograph perpetual tourbillon, especially if you can find the white gold ... Or the 1815 rattrapante perpetual. You can "complete" the Lange 1 look with the perpetual, but somehow it seems to...
Iâve always admired your posts and passion. This is such a wonderful and colorful assembly of lovely pieces. I think your thinking re the dato perpetual tourbillon is awesome as others mentioned a PLM to mix it up or sax-o-mat would pretty much complete i...
Iâm honored and happy to hear my posts add some value. The watches you mentioned are definitely on my radar especially the Langematik Perpetual Calendars and I missed the opportunity to get the HG and the Dato Lumen back in the days when I still have acce...
All kind of metal, all lines covered, bravo. No tourbillon yet, no PLM and the sax-0-mat movement is missing. So a Langematik PC (RG or WG blue dial or black dial), a Lange 1 PC tourbillon would be a nice choice, Datograph PC tourbillon, or for the long h...
Youâre spot on for the recommendations but unfortunately those new Langematik PC are extremely limited and all sold out, maybe not to me lolâŠbecause reserved for new clients. Iâll have to hunt and I agree it is fun finding the right one, especially my RL ...
Probably not the most popular opinion/recommandation, my dear Raymond, but I wouldn't add any Lange & Söhne timepiece. In stead I'd focus on other offerings from less arrogant brands. And maybe find a 11 piece box ;-) Regards, George
I opted for this, Along with my 1815 chrono. Now I only have to wait two years for delivery!đ Or you can inquire about this one, But the Langematic perpetual in PT is also a great option... ...
As for the Luna, you know those 20pcs were all sold out my friend, donât tease meâŠ.you go take the plunge first đđ I like the Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon but itâs quite heavy tooâŠand thick at 15.3mm
Youâre right this monsters are quite thick, and heavy, but when on the wrist, the satisfaction is unbelievable. As for the allocation, I went to the Boutique about five times, showed my two pieces and since then Iâm in, now only if money would be an optio...
Now they see you as new darling with potential đđ»đȘđ» For me, I think my chances are going to be different. I had asked for some of those pieces you show there and all told sold out. Itâs ok, if they feel like saving the âgoodiesâ for new clients, so be it....
I love your collection. The 1815 Chrono boutique would be my '1 watch only' watch. It has everything I need in life! However, it does seem strange looking at 11 beautiful Langes, and not seeing a Dato there. For me, the Dato is Lange. The flagship. The pi...
Iâm super tempted on a DPT to complete the range. The reason I chose the 1815 Chrono is the wearability and movement is same as Datograph. Looks like I need some more donations đ
I concur with the idea of a Perpetual Calendar... Or maybe a ZW Decimal Strike if you can find one. And you can't buy any new pieces or just no limited edition pieces?
There arenât many new releases in recent years that are not limited, right đ ? Only this yearâs Grand Lange 1 and last yearâs Lange 1 RG PC are not limited but I donât get why Iâm not able to get any nowadays. Like I said, Iâm pissed and Iâm done. ...
I understand the frustration, for sure! Now, on to your question... The printing and moonphase on the Dato Perpetual are too small for my taste, and the dial too cluttered. That experience doesn't improve with age As others have said, an original Dato wou...
Iâm still puzzled and wondered what did I do wrong till this day? The fact that Iâve seen pieces that I want, told no or sold out but allocated to new(er) clients and bundling for me but not some are the final straw. I told many I have only myself to blam...
You're certainly famous and influential here! A friend (who may be reading this now) ordered a platinum 1815 RPC many months ago and is hoping to get it soon. Hopefully he'll post his thoughts on it here when that happens. I wonder if both the Anniversary...
I chose the newer 1815 chrono for the same movement, longer and preferred power reserve plus easier to my wrist when wearing. I hear you though, appreciate the input.
Amazing collection. Only one chrono though and I think a Pt Dato (I prefer the first generation version) would nicely complement what you have now. On the other hand, I agree that no collection of this level is complete without a model with a Langematik m...
I was debating where to put the empty slot because the Saxonia Thin used to be there but I moved it down since the row represents each family. Maybe youâre right my mind subconsciously thinking a L1 PC and I agree with all your points. Thanks for your kin...
Lange 1 QP would fill out the middle Lange 1 row nicely and add the perpetual calendar complication. Or tourbillon L1 QP! OG dato platinum or of course the Dato perpetual tourbillon. Even the OG zeitwerk in white gold would be nice.
