The Grönefeld is a real beauty which I can absolutely recommend. I woke up to the manufacture with the 1941 Remontoire but not early enough to obtain from them. I tend to add to my collection based on the complication so scratched the remontoire itch with a Zeitwerk striking time instead. I love the idea of the remontoire being functionally useful as opposed to more decorative - which is definitely the case with the Striking Time. I’m now looking at the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds with its functional one second remontoire, which drives the second hand, to add a Regulator to my collection.
