The WS for the 12th of May - ‘Most Frequently Worn Watch’ - is live

 By: KMII : May 12th, 2023-10:55
As announced yesterday the theme this weekend will be ‘Most Frequently Worn Watch’. While most of us rotate watches on a regular basis, there tend to be one or two pieces that for whatever reason get more wrist time than the rest. These are what we would ...

And to kick off proceedings…

 By: KMII : May 12th, 2023-10:59
Here are mine. If I look over the period since 2014, when I joined here, the winner has to be: If it’s all time, the one below got most wrist time, even if it’s rarely worn nowadays. Currently? Hard to say 🤷🏻‍♂️ But since I work in an office environment a...

Really like this chopard

 By: TeutonicCarFan : May 12th, 2023-15:03

The watch that got me here in the first place 😊

 By: KMII : May 12th, 2023-20:55
I joined to ask questions about it and the rest is history 😉 But it was probably the last daily wearer, in the meantime so many others joined that it will be hard to top it 😉

Unbelievable

 By: Weems@8 : May 12th, 2023-17:30
I mean astonishing. Your Breitling is a very interesting watch. It is equipped with a nice ostrich strap, and it have that blue dial that rocks. To fall into a deep respect, i want information as much you can give. Case size. Movement. Year of build. What...

Thanks Weems8!

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:16
The Breitling is actually a chrono, and alarm and all the rest. It’s 40mm and I believe I got it either in 2000 or 2001 and wore it daily for many years. Two great watches you show, too. The BM has a lovely green dial and the RT looks very pilot like 👍🏻👌🏻...

A journey with the Navitimer

 By: Weems@8 : May 13th, 2023-08:00
Interesting history. I can make up now a small view how Breitling goes with Navitimer likes. Somewhere from the start around 1954 till this day. Very little i know about the movements Breitling use throughout the years. To this day, Breitling equipping in...

Really like both those references 👏👏

 By: Andy_Mac : May 13th, 2023-18:49
and nice pics too 👊

Of the watches that I have these 2 probably get the most wear.

 By: Thomas_3 : May 12th, 2023-12:45
I have a couple more modern watches and many vintage pieces. I don't wear the vintage usually on a daily basis, I feel they may be a bit "delicate" for lack of a better word for daily wear, so I wear them sparingly. ...

Very diverse pair

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:17
Which covers most of the needs so I can well see why they would get a lot of wrist time 😊👍🏻

This is getting a lot of wrist time recently!

 By: @lberti : May 12th, 2023-12:45
I bought this piece in the Roma boutique a week ago, after putting my name almost a year ago on a previous trip with my wife. This watch will be our "Roma" watch (yes, she likes it a lot as well). Trips i have in great memory with my wife. This will be a ...

Beautiful catch!

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:18
And congratulations on your latest addition 👌🏻👍🏻

thank you very much!

 By: @lberti : May 15th, 2023-07:45

Classy; nice look 👍

 By: Andy_Mac : May 13th, 2023-18:50

Thank you Andy

Wow this picture and watch are stunning! Bravo

Worn the most often because...

 By: enjoythemusic : May 12th, 2023-13:45
...it's great when they offer a multitude of straps (and bracelet) that all work so incredibly well! The Czapek Monochrome 'works' extremely well in virtually for all occasions / events / situations. With a solid build quality that's sturdy enough for off...

The straps really make a difference…

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:21
One thing I also notice with my watches - those that dress up and down well through straps get a lot more wrist time. Great Czapek that really seems extremely versatile 👌🏻🙌🏻

quite digging that oversize 12 on the dial

 By: Andy_Mac : May 13th, 2023-18:52
great choice 💪👍

A most humble thanks.

 By: enjoythemusic : May 13th, 2023-22:16
Love the font, plus it adds to legibility day and lume night. Someone should name a timepiece '12' 🤣

A lovely watch indeed!

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:22
With a great re-edition design paired with modern internals and a wonderful size 👌🏻👍🏻

So cool with this reference!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : May 14th, 2023-10:28

Yes, sir. It's really very comfortable vintage re-edition done by Omega. Literally true to original measurements except a modern movement.

 By: Pun : May 14th, 2023-10:40
I'd have taken it as my all time favourite if it had a hand wound movement like original instead of automatic. But you can't have everything in one watch 😇 ...

One of my favorite this omega! 🔥🔥🔥

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : May 14th, 2023-15:48

Great theme, KM!!

Since I bought this watch three months ago it’s been pretty much the only thing on my wrist. I just adore it. Wishing you and everyone a great weekend! B ...

Now that is a great piece indeed!

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:24
Nowadays I tend to wear mostly independents, too but with several tens of watches they will struggle to accumulate as much wrist time as the two posted, which were ‘only watches’ for years 😊🤷🏻‍♂️

- First of all, Sorry for the mishap, but had to re-post as I apparently had run out of time (and had forgotten to save the entry). - Thus, all was lost.. Grr.. I‘ll make it simple this time and enter just 4 sets of pics, (with 1 Main Fav) grouped as they...

Thx so much for your nice words !

 By: hs111 : May 13th, 2023-08:26
Glad, you like it ! And Yes, these different hues of blue give it a sublime appeal ! - It has become my Number 1 watch for going out. Thx again & Cheers !

I agree

 By: andrea~ : May 13th, 2023-09:10
After trying your version alongside the original I can say that the blue dial makes the watch 10x more appealing.

No need to boil it down to one, HS111!

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:28
Four wonderful entries and as mentioned last time - that JLC blue dial really transforms the watch in my eyes and makes it much lovelier. A fantastic quartet all around 👍🏻

Thx dear KMII, for the nice comments !.. Glad you liked them..

 By: hs111 : May 13th, 2023-08:22
And BTW: I always love your fine blue Chopard Fly Back Chrono and also the way you often change its „shoes“ by showing lovely diversity and great matching with a whole big bucket of great straps ! HAGWE & Best to you & yours ! 🙂😊

Very kind as always 🙏🏻

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-15:18
The watch is certainly versatile strap wise.

Thx again, dear KMII - further to my answer..

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-15:20
The local ADs are no longer in the habit of stocking anything but as we are moving let’s see if I manage more luck 👍🏻

All great but the Deep Sea Alarm

 By: Andy_Mac : May 13th, 2023-19:00
Oof! Yes please 👌

Hello dear friend HS!! I was sure your GADA Aquanaut and the JLC Triple date would be included in your most worn watches in your collection. You have good reasons to include them!

 By: Subexplorer : May 13th, 2023-22:02
The JLC is a superb watch and the sautante date complication a very nice and interesting one and wonderful to have in such a classy timepiece. No necessary to comment on the Aquanaut... a sophisticated GADA it is! The DSA and ceramic Daytona two exquisite...

Deep Sea Alarm 👍👍👍

This rado by far

 By: TeutonicCarFan : May 12th, 2023-19:19
I wear it most days. Despite having many piece of HH, I don't tend to wear nice watches to work. For that reason this watch and my speedmaster automatic get most the wrist time. ...

It’s a great piece!

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:29
Rado really did well with it and broadened their appeal quite a bit with this line 👌🏻👍🏻

Hi KM. I also rotate watches frequently so it’s hard to find one that fits the bill here.

Most likely contenders for me would be My APRO - particularly in the summer My Nautilus - which alternates depending on my color preference This one has also seen a lot of use over the past few months. And this one will get a 2 week stint from next week a...

Ah, not a problem if there’s more 😁

 By: KMII : May 13th, 2023-04:33
Most of us don’t meticulously document which watch is on which day, so more entries are fully appropriate. Really love your selection but for this weekend your PP chrono is my slight favorite 👌🏻🙌🏻

Many thanks KM.

 By: Timeout : May 14th, 2023-16:13
A disadvantage of having so many choices and changing daily is that my appreciation of a particular watch only grows with consistent wear - which seldom happens. That’s one reason that I only take one watch on my travels. The Grönefeld is making the trip ...

The Grönefeld is a real beauty which I can absolutely recommend. I woke up to the manufacture with the 1941 Remontoire but not early enough to obtain from them. I tend to add to my collection based on the complication so scratched the remontoire itch with...

The Nautilus is a classic. I remember as a teenager growing up my best friend had a SS Rotary - just found a photo online - which I thought was the greatest ever! Whenever I wear my Nautilus I think of those days 😂 ...

I guess you obviously got the watch bug early 💪

 By: Andy_Mac : May 14th, 2023-18:04
I can also remember particular watches and the associated people from decades ago…can’t remember what I did last week though 🥴

I know the feeling.

This was my first serious watch - a Seiko - around 1977. Don’t know what happened to it but it served me well for quite a few years. ...

As I tend to change frequently, I had to ask my wife which is th one I wear most.

 By: GDG25 : May 13th, 2023-13:54

There are ~ forty in my collection, half of which are in a safe deposit box . . .

. . . at any one time. I try to give them all equal attention, but some inevitably get less than others. The watch I find myself reaching for, though, is a fairly recent arrival. Yup, the pre-moon '69. Not the Ed White, which is also always at home, but t...

Definitely a watch I would imagine not seeing the safety deposit box often in your case

Not always can we elucidate the reason but this one is certainly you 😊👍🏻

Why? I don’t know

Hello Andy! Welcome to WS. What a beautiful charming choice to answer the theme. Have you got this watch recently? It surely deserves a LOT of wrist time.

I hadn’t seen that UJ before.

Under the radar, useful complication, great manufacture, in a very practical package — that watch has a lot going for it!

Agree with all of your points

 By: KMII : May 14th, 2023-05:49
Certainly a great choice of frequent wearer, too 👌🏻👍🏻

Great theme this weekend! I use to rotate each watch equally until very recently … for some reason instead of “forcing” myself to wear the one next in the rotation…I just pick the one I feel like wearing…

The below three watch are by far the most wormed so far in 2023 and the GS stayed on my wrist for almost two weeks straight. I think for the GS and the Laureato I am in the mood for metal bracelet watch lately so I gravitate toward them. As for the Longin...

The Majetek certainly has a charm of its own 👌🏻

 By: KMII : May 14th, 2023-05:53

Mostly on wrist as it’s easy to wear

I was sure the Urushi would be one of your entries 😊👍🏻
