The things we consider important to define an high end watch are completely different.
You consider an high end watch that which has an insane price, which is statement, which is recognisable, and other things not related to horology, completely ignoring how the watch is made toghether with the movement it houses.
You Consider "high end" something which has never been intended to do it, a good and reliable work horse conceived for cheap robust professional tool watches, with a glued lens on the screen, just for the price some hectogram of platinum they make you to pay.
It's pretty clear that keeping on debate about this from so different premises is absolutely pointless, wrong or right it is
I'l search for a platinum diamond fullfilled swatch costing the double, maybe more "high end" of any of the watches i've always considered so. You never stop learning new things...
