Patek Philippe

Hi everyone, I discovered several months ago the Instagram account of Khalid from PatekCollector who has a very beautiful collection and shares very fine photos of Patek Philippes watches. As this model is rare, I thought I could share his beautiful Patek...  

But I must say I much prefer looking at the "live" ones compared to the ones we get in press-kits which are not very natural. And I find these ones beautiful. Cheers.

Totallyb20 pieces of 5070 is nothing to make a show about. Just a good way of getting rid of extra cases and movements. Plus cover a friction of the costs of London Exhibition. I am sure that we will see also some other versions in the future. The lucky o...

The whole package:salmon dial; white gold; light honey strap. This watch is sporty and elegant at the same time. Great photos, Mark.

Khalid, I know this is not your most complicated one, not even close your collection is really VERY impressive but this 5070 is imo the most beautiful , I confess I am crazy about these chronographs when we will meet next week...... please wear this one

I imagine your reaction when you saw his first pictures from the 5070 and I hope you'll be able to hold it one day. It is nice to have important colelctors sharing their rare pieces when they can, as we have here too. We can only remind how much we apprec...

Even if I don't think I can assess today the whole extent of their existence, I would say yes for this one (as it is the only one I have good pictures of) mainly because I think it looks fantastic. I think I could even prefer this one over a 5970R (a watc...

I tried to ask myself what would I have been thinking about the 5070 if for instance the 1463 had been released in a 5 pieces limited edition at a higher price that the 5070's MSRP? Would it mean this 1463 small re edition undermines the 5070? I would say... 

These watches, 4 x 5 pieces of 5070 will go to the best clients of Patek Philippe. Another issue is how they will define "best clients". Probably that is also the reason why PP has not been communicating at all about these watches. My guess is that they w... 

For the 3rd point you mentionned: I think yes a little frustration but which could turn into strong envy and appeal too iin my case for instance. The price is just fixed by the market (the original prices were a loooong time ago and prices have skyrockett... 

But I don't see it personally as a tribute, more as a "last call" from this reference.

When doing that once, Patek opens the door to those who think that they can do it again. It is a bit like opening the Pandora' box... Best, Nicolas

because it has launched a few 5 pieces limited editions. I think it is an unfair trial. I know other brands who play the new versions theme (dial color changes, tributes) in a much more extensive way and we don't talk about them that way. Time will tell. ... 

... Those other brands, we over slashed them so hard that the moderators threatens to delete us. AP offshore, Richard mille, Hublot,... milking the cow till the last drop. As a Patek fans, those brands are almost inexistent for me, i don't care what they ... 

I just wanted to present the whole persepective for our discussion. Thanks a lot for your honest and clever opinion on that matter. It is nice to be able to talk about some touchy but interesting subjects without any problem and keeping an impartial opini...
