I beleive every iteration of the 5070.....
...is gorgeous. However I have never been able to understand the delta in price between it and the VC 47120. I heard all the arguments; level of finish, resale, etc. and don't necessarily disagree however I can't reconcile the difference in price (almost 3x). IMO I don't think it is even 2x as nice in terms of quality. I feel what the VC movement lacks in term of finish is more than made up for by the dial and lug design. If $$ are not a concern for you then my comments centered around value don't matter. Regardless the only thing that is important is what you like. Happy hunting!

This Patek case shape is a good example, so are the hand wound Portuguese! Especially the Jubilee models. When it's done right, it's beautiful.

I have never been a great fan of the 5070 because its massive look and its numerals. I would have preferred much more Breguet numerals this is one of the reasons why I totally prefer the 5170.
However on your wrist dimensions' issues seem not to be so dramatic, from the moment that it fits you almost perfectly. At a level of movement ... no words a classic and beautiful Lemania movement. Best.

The dial color, the dial decoration (sunburst) and how it works with light etc... I think that what I like most is the bezel and how it works with the case. I think that this bezel combines perfectly with a smoother, rounder case. That's a very good alche...
