I agree and disagree with Nicolas. The 5960 A1 bracelet is somewhat silly as its design doesn´t match with the sporty character of that watch. But in my mind the bracelet of the 5131P
must be regarded in a completely different way. Here, imho, it is matching very well with the watch.
I see the 5131P not only as a watch but also as a statement of Patek: Look what we are able to do as craftsmen and what we are standing for! The best of the best!
Such a statement does not only deserve a bracelet but needs a bracelet to make the watch and the statement perfect and consistent.
I for myself am not such a big fan of the enamel dials but I admire PP for this watch and the self-awareness bringing it to the market against all expectable odds..

I see the watch as pushing an extreme.....and I like it. Maybe it reflects a little on my own personality, but when i finally looked at it for what i see it for...I fell.

But I tried this watch on yesterday and its weight suggests it is only wearable occasionally. On a long haul flight, it might no be the best option as it might exceed the hand baggage weight limit! Lovely dial, I really like the snow on it

There is no weight issue as yes lighter than my 5711P 40th and I FI TT even notice it on my wrist.
When I get mine (lol) I am taking the bracelet off abd putt g in a strap. Simple solution and not worth the angst

Thank you for the review. In my opinion the bracelet is absolutely necessary to cap-off the collection of metals. It provides an extra degree of distinction that the platinum version of the reference deserves.
