My particular chuckle is the irony that the two places on earth where time-zones don't matter are....the poles.
Beyond that, and fully appreciate the aesthetics, it is a bit like a pilot watch made of WG - this is a "travel" watch, but the bracelet just doesn't "fit" that purpose. I'd still grab one if I could, but I won't be travelling with it..

I see the watch as pushing an extreme.....and I like it. Maybe it reflects a little on my own personality, but when i finally looked at it for what i see it for...I fell.

But I tried this watch on yesterday and its weight suggests it is only wearable occasionally. On a long haul flight, it might no be the best option as it might exceed the hand baggage weight limit! Lovely dial, I really like the snow on it

There is no weight issue as yes lighter than my 5711P 40th and I FI TT even notice it on my wrist.
When I get mine (lol) I am taking the bracelet off abd putt g in a strap. Simple solution and not worth the angst

Thank you for the review. In my opinion the bracelet is absolutely necessary to cap-off the collection of metals. It provides an extra degree of distinction that the platinum version of the reference deserves.
