I dont mind date
By: Patekphilippecollector : June 18th, 2020-07:11
Patek generally has a white window to the dates...ot gives the contrast or appearance of beig an hour indeces whereas the same colour it would look like something is missing
+1 [nt]

Huh?
By: Chimaera : June 17th, 2020-23:50
Does precisely nothing for me.
Hmmm? Im not seduced
By: ChristianDK : June 17th, 2020-23:50
It might as well be a JLC. I don’t see what is “Patek” About it except the logo.
As mentioned in the other thread, a 1,000 run to me is not so large, especially given the commemorative event, and in comparison with other recent limited editions. For example, the ...

New York Grand Exhibition offered 600 pieces of 5522 just for the US market. The 5522, in a steel case with an "affordable price point", flew out the door, and after around 3 years, it remains highly sought after as evidenced by secondary pricing. Will si...
Agreed on the JLC design link
By: VinnieD : June 18th, 2020-00:19
But I like it, a fresh design that keeps with the 5000-6000 references. Maybe on a jeans blue rubber tropic strap? Something I cannot unsee: photo credit Zeitauktion ...
I like it
By: FRAMII : June 18th, 2020-01:13

Is anyone going to mention...

...that the hands look like they are made out of plastic? For a USD 28,000 watch? The more I see Patek, the better I like Lange.

Strategically, an excellent move!
By: Blue and White : June 18th, 2020-02:58
It is interesting to follow the reactions in this forum and elsewhere about this new watch. I think it is an excellent move from Patek. This watch has enough ingredients to be called "original Patek" and not to be mistaken with other brands. At the same t...
Super mixed feelings about this one
By: WH_ : June 18th, 2020-04:37
While i buy into the strategy and logic behind this launch, I genuinely dislike how busy and cluttered that dial is.
I like its modern look
By: patrickh : June 18th, 2020-04:57
it should have a success for sure in youngsters. Could be more impressed if : - the case was made in Tantalum or in Titanium - there is no date. Now,, after this 2019 Calatrava, I am waiting to discover the new 2020 Calatrava line with another case design...
I have placed my order
By: sham1 : June 18th, 2020-05:19
which of course has to be approved. I agree that the watch will look better with a date but when Patek uses its 324 caliber, chances are the date will exist. I usually like my watches without a date window but I think my 5212 looks great with it and my fo...
Thank you for saying so!

I seem to be focusing on modern steel Pateks so this 6007 was a no brainer, date or no date! I don't follow JLC so resemblances to the Memovox meant little to me. But a steel Patelk - that's something else.
Its a faux pas..

Here’s another one. When you put mushrooms in an omelette, you get Breakfast of Champignons..
LOL! [nt]

Same process in the UK
By: DOCSF : June 18th, 2020-08:12
The AD needs to submit a list of names and Patek Philippe UK will decide who gets the watch.
Definitely a step sideways, not forward.

I feel that this model is following the "trends". And definitely something that Omega would do. Patek needs to consistently set itself apart and not cave into modern day trends.
👍👍😂 [nt]
