Addendum re: automatic movements used...
Buried in the chaos of the announcement is an important point.
I find it fascinating that the most accurate or robust automatic movements of their era were put into basic ladies' watches by Patek Philipe, Rolex and Chopard.
So the ladies watches have the potential to be the most precise and/or reliably automatic watches that each brand produces irrespective of intended gender.
That is a big deal and superb strategy because ladies will talk amongst thenselves.
Any perceived flaw will be propogated by word of mouth and the fearsome social media!
They had to get it right first time.....

Not sure about Chopard and Rolex
but I know the 324 movement has been used for men's watches for many years now so I guess the tried and trusted movement was the logical choice for the new Twenty 4.
