Help me choose my next 47mm Panerai please!
372, 423, 587 vs 673, 662 vs. 663?
The 47mm Panerai’s fit comfortably on my wrist. I’d like to acquire another 47mm Panerai.
I read on another thread that the 47mm Radiomir, perhaps the 587 in particular, sits uncomfortably high on the wrist and that the 47mm Luminors in the1950 case are more comfortable. Any thoughts on this? And what are your favorite references among the 47mm choices? I am leaning toward the 662 or 663, as I find the brown dial visually striking and I have so many other watches with black dials.

662 or 663 for me!
These days I'm not as captivated by the crown guard and thus a 662 would be perfectly fine for me. I love the color of the dial underneath plexi. Good luck with your decision!
I took the 663, it’s a 372 that we all like but with a cooler dial

It all depends on your wrist and aesthetics.
Ergonomics? I cannot make a difference between the crownguards and the no crownguards model, on my wrist. Aesthetics? The special crownguards is so Panerai! I am not disturbed by it at all. I love both, with and without. If it were me, I would go for a 37...

My favorite 47s are the following but not limited to the 6152-1a, PAM 21, 232, 249, 217, 1628, 760, 687, 1075, 721, 685, 322 and so on. Yes I have a Problem, I know.
No mentions of the 422?? A Luminor
To me it's a stand out, and I like it especially because it has only the small seconds on the dial. Power reserve is on the display back, which is a nice feature. The 422 suits my preference for a cleaner dial, but still has that unmistakable Panerai look...

by quite a number of Paneristi. On the other hand, if you go for "personal" preference, the list becomes endless and poor RDSC might never see the end of the day
