I got hooked on the 5441 and 5251 when I started collecting 25 years ago. While the current trend en vogue seems to be going back to 36mm diameter or so, the history of the Portuguese, where the buyers wanted IWC to make a wristwatch the size of a pocket watch, makes me so happy that this timeless classic is 42mm!

Thank you. I originally had the rose gold. 15 or so years ago, I found the collectors’ set in all three metals in Germany and pulled the trigger! Still the classiest and most iconic watch(es), IMHO.
