In the original 1968 the lume was different

 

It is true, in all the Polaris original that I have seen, the hands are greenish, the indices yellow-brown.  This is true in mine too.  And is not a luminova relume, as expected the reactive light reduces within 30 mins in the dark (meaning old tritium).  In most of those pictures shown here that is also evident.
