I really liked the Grand Sport but couldn't rationalise having a tourbillon in a sports watch but this looks good

It feels like significant emphasis placed on something you would prefer be discreet, the asymmetric beveled relief highlighted with a white pinstripe, leading into a serif typeface which doesn't exactly scream sports, on a white disc rather than dial colo...

It will be interesting to see which (if any) of the new sports models from independents will be considered iconic. I tend to think the Moser Streamliner has the best chance, but could it be this LF or the Czapek Antartique?

It gives an inelegant impression in terms of proportion, and bracelet design. Dial is not great either. Sometimes these first visualizations are off compared to the real product so I would need to see it in real. I love titanium and to work with that idea...

to me it looks good (from the photos) different and given Laurent Ferrier long history at Patek seems almost an evolution

it struck me at first as imposing but with substance and elegance…although that may be biased by my appreciation of LF. The center portion of bracelet is curious, to be seen in metal. But titanium is a nice twist, but comes at a cost, which isn’t exactly ... 

In fact it's a follow up on the Grand Sport Tourbillion which was out of most people's budget, including mine!

Laurent Ferrier is in a different league, movements, finish, hands. The only similary I see with the Bell is that both are in steel 😁

The best finishing and movement architecture in the world will never make a fugly watch pretty.

Overall, just doesn't do it for me...

Let me say first and foremost that I am a HUGE fan of the design and do not see just another clone / imitation of the Nautilus / Royal Oak. Secondly, I knew about this model prior to its launch and already secured one, hopefully it will be one of the firs...

in terms of quality, finishing, movement architecture, etc...it is not even close IMHO. That is the beauty of this passion. We all have our own preferences and choices. None of us is right or wrong. It just comes down to passion in the end 😉👍🙏

Can I ask what makes this watch more desirable TO YOU than the Streamliner, which I think shares a somewhat similar aesthetic? I assume the finishing is higher-end on the LF. Do you also prefer the overall look or shape of the LF? I ask as someone who is ... 

I am also a sort of movement snob so I value the finishing and handwork found in the LF movement, whereas the Streamliner, although a nice movement, is much more Industrial. Comparing the Streamliner to this LF GS really isn't a fair fight since the price... 

I very much want to try on the new LF. I actually really like the aesthetics. I just need to see whether it’s too large for my small (6.5 inch) wrists. I typically wear watches that are a bit smaller and thinner.

It really comes down to proportions and how the lugs taper as well as pairing larger watches with super supple and thicker straps which helps with comfort and fit. If you look through some of my posts, you can see how these larger watches fits since we ha...

A perfect replacement for the now gone Nautilus. Better in every way (beside the price perhaps but better an higher price at source than no availability). I doubt that it would be very available BUT great idea to give to the clients what they want and not...

But as wonderful as LF watches are, the brand is not widely known and produces a very small number of watches. Who knows if the manufacture will even exist in 20 years. I think this watch, the Moser Streamliner, and the Czapek Antartique have a chance to ... 

of the Nautilus. The movements are made in partnership with LFD (La Fabrique du Temps, Louis Vuitton group where the son of Laurent was/is working) so I don't think that servicing the watches will be an issue. Given the current appetite for independends I... 

As the LF Swiss lever movements don't use LIGA manufacturing or silicon parts in the movements, unlike the Galet Micro-Rotor. Outside of the design aesthetic and the finissage, the movement is pretty standard and should be easily serviceable, regardless o... 

I would like it better without the date, but as date windows go, this one is well done. There are plenty of good detailed pictures out now. They're worth seeking out.
