Another experience...
Years ago, I purchased an independent watch from a relatively (at the time) unknown watchmaker based entirely upon the look/style. I liked the watch a lot, but after having a chance to share an evening and many glasses of wine with the watchmaker, my appreciation for the watch and the person behind the bench increased big time. Now I love the watch and its origins.
ps... It would have been a real bummer if this (now highly regarded) watchmaker was not a nice/cool person.

A fairly major player. I love "practical" designs. And Sinn really strive for that "do everything" design: tegemented, lume, quartz when appropriate, reasonable size, etc. But try as I might (and I have tried- twice) they just don't do it for me.
