As multiple or serial owners of FPJ watces, we always 'hope' for improved quaity or at least improved service but it ain't happening...yet. It all depends on the 'attitude' of the principals......quality must come from the top. Believe me, you will see th...

I didn't see this clause but there is strangely no mention of registration privileges eg news or invitations to events. The registration requirements are odd because if you can't find your warranty card or bought a pre-owned one without a warranty card, y...

I hope it will be a valuable resource. (I won't know, as I neither have nor expect to buy an FPJ watch.) Given the circumstances, though, it feels as if they want to be in a position to exert more control over how their watches are discussed. I understand...

As a relative newbee to the PP site and having recently acquired an FPJ Octa RA, what were the issues that caused the FPJ forum to be closed? Am I missing something?

Check for older posts. There is a explanation by the owners and moderators of purists pro. In a nutshell, the brand was not receptive to purists approach to forum maintenance, and they went separate ways. A lot of in betweens are not for me to poke my nos...

Unregistered users can view inserted images (links to image servers) but not uploaded attachments. that seems internally inconsistent to me. Andrew

Perhaps it's mainly directed as a thing for owners, somewhat like car clubs or, to stay with watches, the LOG. It's up to the creators of the "club" to determine the entry/membership rules I suppose and at a some level of granularity quite similiar to hav...

If FP Journe had a dinner only for select customers had already owned a watch, I don't see how anybody could complain. Isn't opening a discussion forum limited to existing customers sort of the same thing? Nevertheless, I think it reflects poorly on them.... 

So, be kind to him. If you don't own a FPJ watch or you can't afford it, it simply means that you are not up to that standard. Please stay away. What if PPro imposes a condition that if you don't own a PPro ABR, you can only read but can't post? Regards L... 

Hi Ling, I think that's the point. The current registration requirements mean that you can read, but not post. That is excluding a lot of potential customers from asking about Journe watches. That's where the benefit of open and 'free' forums like the now...
