Hi Ling, I think that's the point. The current registration requirements mean that you can read, but not post. That is excluding a lot of potential customers from asking about Journe watches. That's where the benefit of open and 'free' forums like the now sadly closed PPro Journe Forum comes in. I wish the manufacture could see the value of a completely open and unbiased forum. Sure, the company has no control over content (except by the supply of information and the answering of questions), and they have to take the good with the bad, but my impression was that Brad moderated a very vibrant and interesting forum, where even the negative posts were discussed in an open and balanced way. Company-run forums, such as VC, JLC, IWC and Journe have their place as well, and have particular strengths, such as access to knowledgeable staff etc, but thinking Purists love to have completely unbiased platforms as well. Personally I believe there is a time and place for both.

FP Journe have announced.....................
On their website the start of the new "Le Club", which a forum exclusively for their pieces. To become a member you will have to provide evidence, that you own one of their timepieces.

Yes I agree ownership should not be the only criteria, there are some friends who have the passion and the knowledge so keeping in mind their abilities JlC should make them 'Honorary Members' what say?

As a relative newbee to the PP site and having recently acquired an FPJ Octa RA, what were the issues that caused the FPJ forum to be closed? Am I missing something?
