... but only registered members can post. And you need to own a Journe with a Warranty Card (because you need to enter the watch serial number as well as the date of purchase and boutique). Even for a company that is 10 years old, there must be watches being sold without box and papers. There is an option to contact the manufacture, so I assume that if your watch is not stollen you will still be able to join.
But it does exclude non-owners from participating in discussion which is unfortunate. There must be potential owners that would love to ask questions and participate.
The upside is that the various Boutique staff are moderating, so it should give much more direct access to information, particularly for the majority of people who don't have a Journe Boutique in their back yard.

FP Journe have announced.....................
On their website the start of the new "Le Club", which a forum exclusively for their pieces. To become a member you will have to provide evidence, that you own one of their timepieces.

Yes I agree ownership should not be the only criteria, there are some friends who have the passion and the knowledge so keeping in mind their abilities JlC should make them 'Honorary Members' what say?

As a relative newbee to the PP site and having recently acquired an FPJ Octa RA, what were the issues that caused the FPJ forum to be closed? Am I missing something?

Check for older posts. There is a explanation by the owners and moderators of purists pro. In a nutshell, the brand was not receptive to purists approach to forum maintenance, and they went separate ways. A lot of in betweens are not for me to poke my nos...

If FP Journe had a dinner only for select customers had already owned a watch, I don't see how anybody could complain. Isn't opening a discussion forum limited to existing customers sort of the same thing? Nevertheless, I think it reflects poorly on them....
