With ripped jeans in the background, it forms a great contrast w/ the iconic lines of Sympathie case... Tx for sharing bro!

Roger Dubuis: Actually many of the current creations

are actually brain child of Diaz. For me, he lost it when he started doing the extravagant color watches w/ "just for friends" slogan.

F.P. Journe: Not sure if this is a good trend...

I think Patek started this a while back. Watch Amateur? Where do we draw the definition? Imagine one day you walk into a watch store and before you can make any purchase, they need to do a thorough background check including your current net worth, your criminal record, marital status, traffic viola

Roger Dubuis: I'm not familiar w/ RD35

But RD5610 is indeed based on Lemania 27CH/2310, with additional complication developed in house, similar to VC47112 and PP 3970/5970...

Roger Dubuis: One of the most complicated perpetual calendar pieces out there

and the interpretation is rather unique, IMHO. The perpetual calendar mechanism is very delicate, to say the least so make very sure it's fully operational. I have the same watch in WG and a custom blue dial.

Officine Panerai: Well, for them it's a learning process...

However, w/ commercial interests behind, I can imagine biased decisions made in exchange for short term gain. With JL at helm for the Richemont group, hopefully we can start to see some decisions planned w/ longer vision.
