Personally, I both like it and dislike the LE issue but it is becoming more the norm now and I feel is getting overdone!
For - I like the chance to buy watches in different colour schemes which the manufacturer can produce in small numbers as they are never going to add to their normal range.
Against - If the brand produces 500 watches in 50 different colour schemes it may as well be a swatch watch as it is a game of colours not what is actually inside the case.
Would I buy a watch purely because it was a LE... NO! Would I buy it because I like the watch and it colour scheme... YES
The question is how many watches actually make it a special LE... 1 of 10? 50? 100? 500? 1,000? I think you cannot go above 100 maximum before it is just a normal watch. Imagine saying... but mine is number 726 of 1,000... how ridiculous is that!
