Horological Meandering

Beautiful 5513 :-)

I love this watch smile

About L.Es, it certainly is a factor when considering Sports or Extreme Watches as it increases the catchet/limited buzz/hype factor but when it comes to complicated pieces with high levels of finishing, the fact the watch has to go through so many processes automatically limits production so there is no need to highlight the fact that the watch is a limited edition or production, sort of redundant.

When money was cheap and you could buy a watch, wear it and turn around and sell it for a profit the fact a watch was a L.E or L.P was a factor. In todays world who cares smile, imo the L.E/L.P thought process is a relic of the past. They have to focus on quality, value for money and imo the most important thing "SERVICE". Why I like Rolexes is the fact no matter where I am in the world, they have an extensive service network and the service center in Q8 is reasonable in their fees and  the staff is excellent. If they have to make a million watches a year to justify that level of depth and reach, I can live with that.
