That Saab 9000 was one of my dream cars I couldn’t afford back then. I especially liked the 5th door model against the regular boot.
Although I couldn’t own one, I have driven them occasionally and they were superb.
Nice trip down memory lane (from a 60 year old to a 65 year old).
Some other cars I loved back then are the Audi 100 and the Mercedes 250D (the one that’s nowadays called the E class).
We had bought one of those when we returned from the US back to Europe and I’ll never forget the braking capabilities of that car.
Today we still drive Mercedes, 3 of them. A S Class, GLE 400 and a vintage 300SL
