Besides liking the watch (of course!), it can mean you trust the brand, both technically and, why not, that you align with its design language. Imho, if AP keeps the current approach, further pursuing this silly collab and putting out this sort of dreadful watches, it will definitely impact the brand. Displeasing the vast majority of the customer base is hardly a great move for any brand - unless, and that may well be their strategy, AP intends to go from a long-term focused reputable brand into a short-term cash generation machine to sell only for a seasonal target audience of more flashy taste so to say.
