Could be one of many for me, but i will go with this one

This was the first Patek Philippe that I ever bought. 2009.
Up until 2009, I had only ever bought Rolex or JLC. But I saw this 5070P and just had to have it. I rang around one or two ADs. They told me I would have no hope at all of getting one as demand was through the roof. I decided to call every single AD in the UK....and then Europe.....and then I realised that I had no hope.
So.....I decided to call Patek Philippe themselves. They were brilliant. They explained to me that the watch was one that was very rare and very special and that collectors were on waiting lists for them.
.....to cut a long story short.....through one way or another......I found myself at David Duggan. I had never been there before. I walked in and asked them about a 5070P. They had never had one in before. But they looked at me as if I was somewhat crazy and then they said..."Its really strange as just an hour ago we had a client from abroad who has a sealed 5070P that he just doesn't want. Do you want it?"
The rest is history.
Of all Patek Philippe, the 5070P holds a very special place for me. Its a chronograph with some attitude. I love platinum and blue dials....just love them. I know salmon is the new pink etc etc, but actually nothing beats a blue dial on a platinum case for me.
