I was burglarized in January 2011 and I lost 22 watches. among them a superb Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm, the vintage, the original.
Well, some yeas ago, I had one, which was in less good condition than that one. I bought it, my first DSA US, from a well known dealer in Netherlands, who bought it from a collector, friend of mine.
I made the trade, was very happy with, till it was stolen to me.
The DSA Us is one of my favorite vintage watches, all brands included.
I asked my friend if he still had the DSA US. He told me that he sold it some months ago to another collector... Who is also a friend of mine.
This friend of mine, Mr You know who you are, contacted me, and offered me to sell it to me.
So, to make a long story short, I once had a watch I traded for the same watch but in better condition, which was stolen to me. I could buy the traded back.
When it comes to such a rare watch as the Deep Sea Alarm, it is pretty extraordinary!
It is all about friendship...
