Hunting watches can be difficult but if you have good helpful friends around the world...

it not only makes it easier, it also provides a special meaning to the watch.
It can be anything, a vintage watch you hunted but then appears in Argentina, with a seller only speaking Spanish, no international shipping option or any meaningful way of payment.
So it is great to have a WatchPurist friend in Argentina that helps you out kindly with the process and the watch ends up with me in my collection...
Or you find that great bargain, hard to fine watch in Moscow, not sure if you can trust the seller. So again having a WatchPurist friend in Moscow who not only takes the time out of his busy schedule to travel to the seller and pick up the watch for me but then also provides a personal delivery service!
Or, you post a watch on the forum that you really like and are still hunting and you get a message from a WatchPurist in Dubai saying, hey, my AD here has one of those still in stock, I get you the details and I can make the purchase...
And finally, when a friend from Sweden says that he has been offered a rare vintage GP of which he of course already has all versions and colours 3 times, and offers me to take it instead, you can end up with things like this...
So it is all about this global community that has provided many fine watch acquisition stories!
