Dear Abel, 2020 was probably the pinnacle of horology passion for me as I completely re-did my collection!

I started the year with one watch left in my collection which was my beloved classic GO perpetual calendar. This was the only watch that survive the purge I did in 2019!
The I got really excited as I got one of the first Zenith Defy Inventor, but unfortunately I had to return it as the movement was not working properly (+10 to +15 sec/day). Despite countless apologies by my AD and Zenith for sending me a watch that clearly should not have pass quality control, i decided I did not want to get another ... so this one only made a brief appearance!
Then I ended up getting this nice Tudor BB bronze. Now what is interesting is I dont like dive watch in general...well this one was also sold during the year...
Back with only one watch during the pandemic, i decided to get this GS anniversary model during the summer...
Then went on to get both the yellow and coral red Rolex OP...now guys dont judge me...I decided to let then go after only 2 months because while I think they are amazing watch and the feel was great, i bought them on the spur of the moment and they just did not fit into what I was aiming to achieve with my collection - also found the dial color to attract too much attention to my liking
Then things started to get serious as I decided to get a few Germans! Started with this GO Senator Chronograph (I still have this watch but I had to send it for servicing as the movement was running too slow brand new - expected to get it back this month - cant wait!)...
Then of course the highlight of 2020 for has to be this amazing Chronometer LE...
then given my GO Chronograph was sent back for servicing, decided to also add this GO observer...
Took a short pause from the Germans to add this beautiful PAM 995 thanks to the help of fellow purist to help my incursion into the Panerai’s world...
Then, I cracked! The year was almost over, the collection of classic dress watches with some character driven casual watches was taking form, I knew long term I would never be satisfied without adding the 1815 Up/Down
With the classic dress watch category pretty much covered...decided to add another more sports watch, the Speedmaster, mostly because of its orange accent!
And that’s it! So despite a few mistake along the way, I am quite please with the results and as you can see I had plenty to keep the passion alive. I look forward to finally starting to enjoy my GO Chronograph when I get it back in a few weeks. In 2021, I suspect I will add another Panerai for sure, and then we’ll see!
HAGWE everyone!
