Los Angles is where I call home. Lots of landmarks nearby the Hollywood Hills where I live: Hollywood &Highland complex where the Kodak theatre resides. Since was born and raised in L.A., I never really took too many pics of the city. Maybe I should? -MW...

A couple of them like that around downtown, and all automotive related. I think it has always been Firestone, too, so one of the early stores. You must have a few pix of your area to share. You've got those astounding mountains right behind you.

. . . never been much of a photographer, and the only reason I've got cameras at all is for taking watch pics. Funny thing: I bought an SLR with a dedicated macro lens three years ago just to take watch shots, but I found it to be way too much camera for ... 

The big orange hot air balloon at the Great Park which is visible practically 24/7. The Great Park is planned for completion in 2020 I believe. Btw, it's free to go up in the balloon. I haven't gone on it yet but Ping says it's kind of uneventful. Cheers,...
