Lets get serious and help our fellow PuristS member Graham aka GMHutton out with naming his son's pet goldfish.
Who ever comes up with the best name that Graham chooses will win both a new 2009 Carl F. Bucherer 2GB USB flash drive!

That's exactly what my daughter named hers.

Hello Allen, I'm surprised that the fish lived for 3 years! I guess she has the magic touch. Did you feed the fish the food flakes? I used to do bread crumbs on those carnival goldfish and they really liked eating it. -MW
Just the fish flakes are enough to keep them alive.
My friend's goldfish lived for almost 10 years and grew to almost a foot long!

We think very much alike! Another vote for Auric. I was also thinking about the scientific name of gold and the famous James Bond film. We can't call the goldfish Scaramanga; so Auric would be my choice.

What about "PG" (pronounce: pee-gee)?
Sounds childlike and alludes to the gold aspect of the fish - but as the goldfish definitely has an orange-reddish color, is more appropriate than "WG" or "YG" . Apart from that "PG" might serve for futher wordplay like having people guess what this stand...
