to start with, prices of brand new cars here are ridiculous...
a brand new Alpine costs about SGD300K here and for the 911 Carrera S, it's about SGD600K. when you sell your car in the used car market, the price is still high compared to other countries, but is ridiculous compared to its brand new price. this 911 was 12 years old when i bought it and i paid SGD145K, which is about the price of a brand new Toyota Camry here

i can still live with people touching and taking selfie of my car...
definitely better than other drivers/passengers opening their doors wide on purpose to put a dent on the adjacent car

in any case, the car's paint and bodywork are not in the best condition. it was driven daily pre-covid and given the small carparks here, dents and scratches are common occurrences
