No defined way. We spend a long time debating to reach a shared and agreed conclusion. We represent a United front. Rarely we may speak from a personal opinion that only one of us can attest to - or of course when sharing individual stories.

You’re right, generally uniques are not unique but in a handful of cases they genuinely are unique. Some of mine even have it written on the papers. So this 5970 was part of a set of 3. All three were made in Platinum. Glad we agree, this is my favourite ... 

watches described as “possibly unique”. To have watches made by Patek on special order and described in the papers by Patek as “unique” IMHO has to be the holy grail of Patek collecting! Best, Patekova
