You’re right, generally uniques are not unique but in a handful of cases they genuinely are unique. Some of mine even have it written on the papers. So this 5970 was part of a set of 3. All three were made in Platinum. Glad we agree, this is my favourite ...

watches described as “possibly unique”. To have watches made by Patek on special order and described in the papers by Patek as “unique” IMHO has to be the holy grail of Patek collecting! Best, Patekova
