Best chronos and split-seconds chrono should be manual wound calibers, period.
5960P is automatic chrono, despite its novel originality from Patek, that never appeals to me.
So between 5960P and Lange DS, definitely Lange DS.
You should be comparing Lange DS with 5970. Now that's another story...
I maybe biased of course (in fact I never like the dial of 5960P), still make me dizzy.

Would be for the 5960P The reason being that although the DS is a fantastic piece of craftmanship. I know that I would hardly ever use the DS complication. Where as I would always use the Annual Calendar and occasionally the chronograph function. Some mem...
Money & resale value aside, the question is which one do you like more?

I would easily choose the DS between this 2 models......
