Recently, I was looking to buy a datagraph and chatted with a few Lange owners. I am not sure why this is the case, XXX
Getting away from price, my inclination would be the 5960. I think it is a classic Patek with nice history given it was, i believe, the first automatic chrono (will someone put me straight there if i am wrong).

There's no comparison
Best chronos and split-seconds chrono should be manual wound calibers, period. 5960P is automatic chrono, despite its novel originality from Patek, that never appeals to me. So between 5960P and Lange DS, definitely Lange DS. You should be comparing Lange...

Would be for the 5960P The reason being that although the DS is a fantastic piece of craftmanship. I know that I would hardly ever use the DS complication. Where as I would always use the Annual Calendar and occasionally the chronograph function. Some mem...
Money & resale value aside, the question is which one do you like more?

I would easily choose the DS between this 2 models......
