Both nice watches, but there is really no comparison
This is not apples to apples. I love Patek, but the Lange DS is a much more desirable watch. Is it as wearable? Maybe not for some. But examine one of each in your hands and play with the chrono functions, and if you are after horological appreciation you will see there is no contest.
Brand loyality to Patek is one thing. The better watch in this case is completely another.

There's no comparison
Best chronos and split-seconds chrono should be manual wound calibers, period. 5960P is automatic chrono, despite its novel originality from Patek, that never appeals to me. So between 5960P and Lange DS, definitely Lange DS. You should be comparing Lange...

Money & resale value aside, the question is which one do you like more?

I would easily choose the DS between this 2 models......
