Indeed both are beautiful but...
it REALLY boils down to what you expect either of these watches to do for you OR give you. If you are only being tempted just because of the possibility of getting something, walk away as you will regret it. You forked out a sum with all the accompanying emotions of buying a watch/5960P shows that you really like that watch. If you didn't, you probably wouldn't have done that.
The DS only came about due to this potential trade. Whilst I personally like the DS a LOT more, I fear that doing this deal will end up in regret for you. Just my two cents on the matter.

There's no comparison
Best chronos and split-seconds chrono should be manual wound calibers, period. 5960P is automatic chrono, despite its novel originality from Patek, that never appeals to me. So between 5960P and Lange DS, definitely Lange DS. You should be comparing Lange...

Money & resale value aside, the question is which one do you like more?

besides it is very difficult to make money on a watch- so buy/keep/trade the one that YOU like the most and will enjoy wearing. At the end of the day- that would be the best buy Cheers

I would easily choose the DS between this 2 models......
