Patek 5078R delivered!
While there are still people waiting for 5078P, one waited for 5 years and just received the other day, and another still waiting after 6 years, this one was delivered just after 3 month he placed an order for the novelty 5078R (and, in fact, this was the 2nd piece delivered to The Hour Glass Ginza).
The sound really depends on each piece and can't say there was any difference between P and R, but certainly MRs of Patek these days are powerful sound, yet clear - Thierry sound, some say....

Yes, I did.
.. but in comparison, this specimen sound was not "so soft that I could barely hear" level. And, yes, I know in terms of loudness, crystal gong structure is the champion.

I hope my question doesn't sound ridiculous….but why is the term "EMAIL" located at the lowest portion of the dial? Curious!
