overall production volumes and demand pressure. They don't mean the same if the brand produces 5000 watches a year.
Furthermore, I always thought there is a difference between "limited" because of a specific layout and "limited" because of a custom layout but at a higher price just for the fact it says "limited" on the caseback.
These watches will certainly be sold and sought after, even if not our usual traditional tastes.
If you closely look at other brands and compare the overall production and the number of limited watches, the Patek ratio is very interesting (the value in auctions seem to largely confirm this).
However, I think that, as we like watches here and we are not here to speculate, someone should buy a watch because he likes it and not because it is "limited". I love the 5975 and would love to get one, even if it wasn't limited but part of the regular collection.
The thing is here: who cares if "limited" is written if the price is the same as a non written?
The 5131 is around 62K€, the 5975 in gold is around 52K. So not overpriced comapred to the colelction.
I would not focus on the fact it is limited but how it is priced.
About "Nautilus under 50% of the output", I don't think they ever said that. About the "nor exclusive neither nice, just expensive", it will please all Nautilus owners reading you! You don't like it but there are many reasons why it is popular and appreciated.
However, I sense a little frustration and anger in your words so I'll stop here
