Just one thought ...
regarding "3 month delivery period". In the past it was quite common to get one (almost immediately) from your AD, because they had them in stock. Today no one wants to pay for stock and sometimes I have the impression some ADs are not even interested in selling/ordering straps anymore. Yes of course there are more different/specific straps than ever before, but still I would appreciate some stock - at least for the "basic" ones. Maybe it is just me who had that kind of experiences, but it was and still is frustrating if I think about getting a new strap - only.
