This is a no-brainer. I’m sure you will love it. Versatile, classy, sporty, elegant etc. If you don’t like it, you still can flip it at double list price. Best, V.

When I try on a watch and I like it, 99% of the time I will go for it. And the Nautilus is so classy.

I wasn't trying to be flippant, I am not educated on the Nautilus collection and I know many members are. My PP collection is predominantly from the Calatrava collection.

Maybe it's just me but the look of this watch has never appealed to me whatsoever.

Buy what you like. I never understood a Nautilus. Thats because i like the Aquanaut. No ears on the Aquanaut made it for me.

I just wanted to provide this advice... Look at your timepieces. If they're all scratched up, you might want to reconsider on the Nautilus. The Nautilus is a scratch magnet. Meaning a Nautilus will get even more scratched up than a normal watch. And the N... 

I owned the Nautilus ... way back when the 5711 first came out. I was surprised at the finish, first and foremost. I could tell, the bracelet finish was not going to age well. There was a flimsiness to it as well that made me shake my head... I sold it pr... 

A nice looking but totally impractical design. The polished parts STICK UP and get scratched, while the brushed parts are below where they won't get scratched... Exactly the opposite way to do it!

One that i remember very well: A&L oddyseus

I personally would buy the Lange, than the 5711. The 5711 is quite collectable since recently and that is a big part of its charme.

I did like it back then and still like now. ...  

But if you decide to pass it up, let me know, I can find a way to make both of us happy 🤗

You mentioned your AD, did you really mean AD or you meant Dealer? I'm basically asking for the price you're offered: retail or market? My take: - at retail: Yes, if you like it. - at market: No Let us know please what happens tomorrow 😉 Enjoy the process... 

I wouldn't even consider the offer if it was being sold above retail.

So at retail, it's still an expensive watch, but it's definitely a fantastic one as well. As you have the opportunity to try it on, enjoy it and let's see what you feel with it on the wrist. And then make a decision, the risk is certainly low here, given ... 

Certainly they would look to capitalize on the market. I would buy another 5711 at retail, but not a penny more

I know for me I've been offered several easily flipped watches this year from my AD and I took none of them. For this very reason. I may be naive, but the AD appreciated the opportunity to go to the next person and potentially make them very happy and hop...

My 2 cents (be they dollar or euro) is that it's a great watch to wear, very comfy on the wrist, and arguably iconic in design. And super versatile, for me at least. But, it is way overpriced at retail. It was a stretch at retail prices when I purchased m... 

A steel Nautilus costs as much as a GOLD Rolex President Daytona. Yes, the Patek Philippe movement is better finished, but it's not THAT MUCH BETTER. And at that $33K price point, there are so many other fantastic watches one can get new or used. Did I me...

I visited the AD this morning and was skeptical going in. I had almost talked myself out of the Nautilus. I tried it on and was sold. Why? 1. The blue/black dial in person is so much better than any picture I've seen. 2. The light nature of the watch and ...
